June 30th: Crazy 4 Cult 4 is opening on July 9th at Gallery 1988 in L.A.! I'll be down there at the opening so stop by and say hi. Here is a preview of my print.

I've wanted to do a Point Break print for years! Growing up my friends and I watched this movie a lot. I think being from Canada, surfing movies were a little extra awesome to us because it was a lifestyle we couldn't really experience or live. The colors are a bit of a homage to the Endless Summer poster. (except I used red instead of Pink) I was also going for the early 90's surf colors.

A little tribute to Swayze and his character Bodhi.

Visual Technicians: Est 2003
Handmade: I hand-cut every layer of film thats physically possible to do by hand. Using rubylith I cut each layer with an exacto knife. I hand pull each print and hang it to dry on a clothes peg. There's no automated printing or drying, which means each print takes more time to create. Consider the process when looking at my art and I hope you can enjoy the image more knowing the time and energy put into each one.
